Animation... Book... And... Video Game Too, It Can't Be Helped

Alternatively titled, obsessions past and present, all huddled under the same umbrella. Font size and interest are pretty much directly correlated, but it's not really a measurement of objective quality of media since my interest in most of these things stretch outside of the canon, if ya will. An undoubtable aspect of media consumption is playing dollhouse in my head with the characters they provide me with. Obviously, well written media will result in more guys movin' into the dollhouse, but I'm not too picky. The heart wants what it wants!

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

It's hard to put into words how much I love Jojo's. Reading Steel Ball Run was akin to a religious experience, which is why Gyro and Johnny take up half of the available real estate in this little dollhouse metaphor of ours.

Rohan and Josuke also mean a lot to me, and I've undoubtedly read more Jojo's fanfiction than I know what to do with.

Metal Gear Solid

Raiden, Raiden, Raiden... Metal Gear Solid 2 Raiden... Raiden Metal Gear Solid 2 Nexus Mods Thighs Of Liberty Download Right Now And Live Love Laugh With Your Low Poly Loverboy... This one isn't as deep or complicated as Jojo's - Raiden's a weird guy operating under the impression that he is not. Recipe for success when it comes to making guys you wanna punt across the football field and take large bites out of. Ocelot too, but that one is obvious and needs no explanation.

Persona

Persona is a strange one, because I have played both 4 and 5 and can't help but feel that I should have played both as a teenager. Now the games feel too artificially immature in a sense, because they aren't allowed to swear and Persona 5 especially handles adult topics in a really smooth-edged way where everything is just adjacent to actual dark themes. It's just very uneven in its handling, and it feels like its hampered by its need to stay PG 15. Persona 4 did it better.

Homestuck

Probably the catalyst for a lot of horrible interactions and decisions I had and made respectively as a young stunner. As an adult, I have come almost full circle on Homestuck- from adoring it, to loathing it and now respecting it in a way. It's undeniable that Hussie singlehandedly shaped a lot of Tumblr user's humour (most likely for the worse) and the fans of Homestuck are now creating their own series and shows, with really heavy Homestucky overtones.

As for the content of the webcomic itself, in retrospect, it was probably more complicated than I could handle at 11-12ish but I was obviously very fond of it regardless. I really value how committed Hussie must have been to create these intricate little characters. And I love Equius Zahhak. Gamzee's design appeals to me more and more as time goes on but he's always been a fan favourite.
